I've always had a strong passion for choreography from the very early age of five when I would host dance concerts for my parents in my basement with my siblings. I began my "professional" choreography journey when I was 12, choreographing for a local children's workshop performing "The Nutcracker Suite". For the next couple of years, I would continue working with that workshop, learning how to teach and modify choreography to different age groups.
As I continued to grow up and learn about choreography and such I was given many opportunities to teach all different kinds of age groups and work with all sorts of theatres. I'm fortunate enough to have been a returning choreographer for regional theatre The Majestic Theatre in West Springfield, MA. As part of the Children's Theatre, I was able to choreograph shows such as You're A Good Man Charlie Brown and Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp.
When I attended Roosevelt University, I continued my choreographic career: I've been able to choreograph for various projects such as Running Up That Hill: Celebrating the Poetry and Music of Kate Bush and have had the amazing chance to collaborate with fellow composers to create an original piece.

DownloadAt the start of 2020, I organized and spearheaded an entirely student-run organization that celebrates and upholds BIPOC voices within the Chicago College of Performing Arts. This young program aims to create a community where both BIPOC students and BIPOC theatre professionals can talk and guide each other through a predominately white industry.
In this program, I acted as Producer/Director in Color Me 2021, and have now acted as Executive Director for 2 years. From this experience, I have successfully applied for and received grants, set a budget, organized communication and materials, organized a number of master classes and panels of various well-established artists, and kept track of and managed rehearsal and performance needs. I also received the Presidential Award for Social Justice from Roosevelt University for my work on Color Me this March 2023!
